Biography
Laurie is a Director of Agency Growth Strategy at Mirren, a firm that specializes in new business and organic growth training for agencies. As you probably guessed, Mirren is also the force behind this event. Each year, more than 700 firms now participate in Mirren’s annual conferences, training programs and webinars (www.mirren.com).
Her work at Mirren follows a 29-year career leading the growth of the Chiat/Day and the TBWA network as the Global Chief Marketing Officer. While at TBWA, Laurie helped create disruptive strategies for such brands as Apple, Nissan, VISA, Kraft, PNC Bank, McDonalds, GSK, ISC Motorsports and Endurance International. She worked with the agency’s small and large offices around the world to help systematically build a custom approach to organic growth and new business – one that would lead to winning over a billion dollars in new revenue.
Laurie also provided industry leadership on such topics as conflict resolution, growth, compensation methodologies and agency review leadership. She serves on the advisory board of UCLA’s Schools of Theatre, Film and Television, where she has helped disrupt the school’s approach to educating the next generation of artists at the intersection of story, performance and technology. Laurie is currently serving on the boards of several startups and playing the role of CEO Muse, as well as writing and speaking on her favorite topic – change management and growth.
